Hurtwood House Public School
I have an unashamedly idealistic and passionate view of education. I want what all parents want for their children and, indeed, what children want for themselves – that they should be inspired and motivated by gifted teachers in an environment which is stimulating and exciting, happy and safe.
Unfortunately, too many schools are worthy but dull and, far from being inspired, too many of our children get lost in a large, impersonal system which does not motivate them, and which stifles their individuality, their initiative and their creativity.
These are precisely the qualities which I value most, and Hurtwood House was created to put life and vigour and enthusiasm back into education after GCSE and to make the A-level experience as exciting and rewarding as going away to University.

Priory Preparatory School For Boys
Founded in 1921, Priory School is a Preparatory School for boys aged from two to thirteen years. We have approximately 200 students, with one class per age group.
As well as being highly successful in preparing boys for top senior Independent Schools, we strive to provide an environment where each boy is valued and encouraged in all aspects of his life.
We believe that happy children learn and grow successfully so we provide a secure, caring and supportive community, where boys can enjoy their childhood whilst preparing for the future.
Priory School provides quality teaching by experienced and motivated staff. Our students enjoy a broad curriculum and a wide variety of extra-curricular activities that help them develop into well-rounded, enthusiastic and successful individuals.
Royal Alexandra & Albert School
This school is a rarity in that it is one of only a tiny number of maintained schools in the country which is a true boarding school - in the sense that boarders outnumber day pupils and there are lessons on Saturday mornings. Consequently we have run a major programme of activities of all types during term time and also have much longer holidays !
